Plankton Declining Population

Yesterday we read about how the Phytoplankton population is slowly dwindling. Phytoplankton have been declining at about 1% each year according to science news. Phytoplankton are very important to our ecosystem. Losing the Phytoplankton would effect the entire ecosystem and totally mess everything up. As the oceans warm some of the Phytoplankton start to dwindle. The Phytoplankton staying alive is very important towards the other animals eating and surviving. Phytoplankton indirectly or directly affect every animal in the ocean and if their population continues to dwindle Global Warming could come even faster.
